The movie Bernie the Dolphin follows the story of two siblings named Kevin and Holly who are spending their summer vacation in Florida. One day, they come across a stranded dolphin named Bernie who has been badly sunburned and separated from his family. The kids take Bernie in and nurse him back to health, forming a strong bond with him.
However, they soon discover that a group of people are planning to destroy the beach and the surrounding area in order to build a luxury resort. This threatens not only the environment but also the safety of Bernie and other sea creatures. Kevin and Holly decide to take matters into their own hands and come up with a plan to stop the bad guys and save their friend.
