She is a talented footballer, and dreams of playing for Manchester United, which was also her mother’s favourite team. However, her father, Matt Gallagher, a former footballer, now struggling to make ends meet as a window cleaner, doesn’t approve of Georgie’s passion for football, and thinks that she should focus on her studies instead.

One day, Georgie meets a stranger, a mysterious woman named Heidi, who claims to be a football scout for Manchester United. Impressed by Georgie’s skills on the pitch, she promises to help her fulfill her dream of playing for the club. But as they embark on their journey together, Georgie, her family and friends begin to suspect that Heidi may not be who she says she is, and that she may have her own hidden agenda.

As Georgie’s football journey unfolds, she also finds herself on a personal journey of self-discovery, learning to cope with her grief, and discovering hidden strengths and talents that she never knew she had. Along the way, she also learns valuable lessons about the true meaning of love, friendship, and the power of self-belief.
