Being Frank is an American comedy-drama movie directed by Miranda Bailey and released in 2018. The movie stars Jim Gaffigan as Frank and Logan Miller as his son Philip. Frank is a husband and father of two teenage children but he has been leading a double life, attending to his second family. However, when Philip learns about his father's secret family, he decides to blackmail him.

Philip has always felt neglected and unloved by his father, who is constantly absent from family events and shows little interest in his children's lives. When Philip discovers that his father has another wife and a daughter, he sees an opportunity to get revenge and starts to manipulate the situation to his advantage. With the help of his best friend, Philip sets up a fake summer internship to cover up his secret summer plans, which involves following his father to his second home and spying on his other family.

As the summer progresses, Philip becomes increasingly entangled in his father's affairs and desperate to maintain his cover. He develops a close relationship with his half-sister and gets to know his father's other family. However, his guilt and shame about the situation start to weigh on him, and he realizes that he has become just like his father - deceitful and unreliable.
