The movie Behind You follows the story of two young sisters, Olivia and Claire, who are sent to live with their estranged aunt, Beth, after their mother's death. Upon arriving at the house, they notice that all the mirrors are covered or hidden. Beth explains it away as a personal preference, but the sisters can't help but feel like there's something off about the house.
One day, Claire finds a mirror in the basement and unknowingly releases a malicious demon that had been trapped inside. The demon begins to possess Beth, who becomes increasingly erratic and aggressive towards the girls. Olivia becomes determined to save her sister and they must work together to confront the demon and banish it back to the mirror.
As they uncover the truth behind the mirror's curse, they also begin to unravel the secrets of their family's past and confront the trauma that led to their estrangement from their aunt.
