Stacey is a shy and reserved college freshman who is focused on her studies and trying to fit in on campus. While out with her friends one night, she meets Benjamin, a charming and confident grad student who catches her eye. They quickly hit it off, and Stacey is swept off her feet by Benjamin's attention and affection.
However, as their relationship progresses, Stacey begins to notice that Benjamin can be controlling and manipulative. He becomes jealous and possessive, and starts to isolate her from her friends and family. Stacey tries to rationalize his behavior, thinking that he just cares about her a lot, but as time goes on, Benjamin's true nature is revealed.
Stacey discovers that Benjamin is narcissistic and abusive, and she realizes that she needs to get out of the relationship before it's too late. With the help of her friends, Stacey builds up the courage to stand up to Benjamin and end their toxic relationship. Along the way, she learns to value herself and recognize the warning signs of abuse in relationships.
