The saleswoman, Ana, is at a crossroads in her life and decides to take a chance on the inheritance. She travels to California and discovers that her property is a charming bed and breakfast that is in need of some TLC. The small town of Webster is full of quirky characters, including a handsome but skeptical local handyman named Jake, who doesn't believe Ana is capable of managing the B&B.
