Beckett follows the story of an American tourist named Beckett (played by John David Washington) who is vacationing in Greece with his girlfriend April (played by Alicia Vikander). During a road trip through the countryside, the car Beckett is driving crashes into another car. He survives the accident, but April dies in the crash, and Beckett is blamed for the accident by the Greek authorities.
