In the film Beautiful, FL, the teenage girl named Gina is determined to win the ice cream competition held in her town. She has always been inspired by her late Tia Abuela's delicious Puerto Rican treats and wants to create a flavor that pays homage to her.
However, Gina is struggling to come up with the perfect recipe and turns to her diverse trailer park neighbors for help. As she asks for their assistance in creating the winning flavor, Gina begins to learn more about her community and the different cultures within it.
As she works on perfecting her recipe, Gina faces a number of challenges, including limited access to ingredients and the pressure of the competition. Despite these obstacles, she is determined to honor her Tia Abuela's legacy and win the competition.
Throughout the film, Gina also navigates her relationships with her mother and her best friend, who both have different ideas about what she should do with her life. Eventually, with the help of her neighbors and her own determination, Gina creates a unique and delicious ice cream flavor that wins the competition and brings her community together.
