After Kendra casts her spell, Kyle wakes up transformed into a heavily tattooed, bald, and scarred beastly version of himself. In order to break the curse and return to his normal form, he must find someone who will love him for who he is within one year. Kyle is forced to move into a secluded apartment with his blind tutor, Will, and his only means of communicating with the outside world is through a chat room where he meets a girl named Lindy. Lindy is a kind-hearted girl who is dealing with her own difficult life situation, living with her drug-addicted father. As Kyle gets to know Lindy, he begins to see beyond her appearance and falls in love with her. However, he is also being hunted by a jealous ex-girlfriend, as well as a vengeful drug dealer who wants to harm Lindy. Kyle must navigate these dangerous obstacles while also trying to break the curse and win Lindy's love before it's too late.
