Beast Mode is a horror-comedy film directed by Chris W. Freeman and Spain Willingham, released in December 2020. The movie puts a satirical spin on Hollywood culture and celebrity egos, while offering a gory and hilarious ride.

The main character, Huckle Saxton, played by James Duval, is a washed-up actor who used to be famous for his rebellious and wild behavior. He is given a chance to redeem his career when he is cast as the lead in a horror movie called "Bloodbath Bloodbath." However, the catch is that his character is cursed and turns into a violent, bloodthirsty creature.

Huckle brushes off the warning from the film's eccentric director, played by genre icon Ray Wise, and thinks it's just another acting job. But as he slips into the role of the beast, he realizes that the curse is real and that he can't control his animal instincts. The film then follows Huckle as he navigates his transformation and tries to find a cure, all while struggling with his personal demons and dealing with the chaos he unleashes on Hollywood.

The supporting cast includes C. Thomas Howell as Huckle's obnoxious agent, Leslie Easterbrook as a Hollywood psychic, and James Hong as a wise old Chinese herbalist. There are also cameos from familiar faces in horror cinema, such as Robert Costanzo, Lin Shaye, and Michael Berryman.

Beast Mode is a fun, B-movie romp that doesn't take itself too seriously but still manages to deliver some genuine scares and laughs. It's a tribute to the horror genre and a satire of celebrity culture, featuring over-the-top violence, cheesy special effects, and a catchy soundtrack.
