The widowed man, Dr. William Blake, is a veterinarian who decides to take his daughters, Sophie and Emma, on a trip to a game reserve in South Africa to honor his late wife's wishes. They arrive at the reserve and meet the game ranger, Sean, who takes them on a safari. During the tour, they see a pride of lions, including a fierce male lion named Brutus.
As night falls, the family settles into their cabin, but they soon realize that they are not alone. Brutus has been stalking them, and a game of cat and mouse begins. The family tries to barricade themselves in the cabin, but Brutus begins to claw his way in, creating a terrifying and intense atmosphere.
As the family fights for their survival, they also confront their personal challenges and begin to heal from their loss. Dr. Blake comes to terms with his wife's death and opens up about his grief to his daughters. Sophie and Emma learn to work together and become stronger as a team.
The family eventually finds a way to escape Brutus's wrath, but the experience leaves a lasting impact on them. They return home with a newfound appreciation for life and the importance of family.
