The young businessman in the movie Battlefield America is Sean Lewis, who is struggling to keep his father's dance studio alive. In order to save the business, Sean agrees to coach a group of misfit kids from an inner city community center for a dance competition. However, the kids have no experience in the underground dance circuit and are initially resistant to Sean's teaching methods.
As the movie progresses, Sean and the kids bond through their shared passion for dance, and they begin to work together as a team. They face challenges such as a rival dance crew and a group of bullies who threaten their safety. Despite these obstacles, the kids ultimately succeed and win the competition, with Sean realizing that he has not only helped the kids become better dancers, but also better people.
