In the movie Battle of the Damned, a highly contagious virus breaks out in a major city and spreads rapidly, turning the infected into violent, flesh-eating zombies. Max Gatling, played by action star Dolph Lundgren, is a former soldier turned mercenary who is hired to lead a team of elite soldiers into the quarantined city to rescue a wealthy businessman's daughter.
Despite their best efforts, the mission is compromised and Gatling and his team find themselves trapped in the city with only a handful of survivors, including a doctor and a technologically advanced robot. As they struggle to survive in a city overrun by the infected, Gatling and the survivors must also contend with a rogue military unit that is using the outbreak as an opportunity to seize power.
With limited resources and time running out, Gatling and his team must use all of their skills and wit to fight off the hordes of the infected and take down the rogue military unit before they can fully enact their sinister plan. Along the way, they also develop an alliance with the robots, who prove to be a valuable asset in the battle against the zombie army.
