The movie Battle of the Coral Sea is a 1959 war movie directed by Paul Wendkos. It stars Cliff Robertson, Gia Scala, and Teru Shimada.
The story starts when the American submarine, U.S.S. Copperfin, is on a secret mission to collect intelligence on Japanese military movements, specifically the whereabouts of Japanese aircraft carriers during World War II.
