Dr. Michael Glass is a respected London psychiatrist who is appointed by Scotland Yard to evaluate the enigmatic and troubled novelist Catherine Tramell, who has moved from San Francisco to London. Tramell is suspected of engaging in a deadly game and causing the death of a famous soccer player.
Despite being warned by his colleagues and friends about Tramell's manipulative and dangerous nature, Glass becomes increasingly drawn to her, and they enter into a passionate and intense relationship. As their relationship becomes more intertwined and complicated, Glass begins to doubt his own judgment and is forced to confront his deepest desires and fears.
As the investigation into Tramell deepens, Glass finds himself in the middle of a deadly game of cat-and-mouse, in which he must navigate the dangerous and seductive twists and turns of Tramell's twisted mind. Eventually, Glass discovers that he has become a pawn in Tramell's dangerous game, and he must use all his professional and personal resources to outsmart her before it's too late.
