Bangkok Dangerous is a 2008 action thriller film directed by the Pang Brothers and starring Nicolas Cage as Joe, a professional assassin who works alone and follows a strict code of conduct. When he arrives in Bangkok to carry out a series of hits, he meets Kong (played by Shahkrit Yamnarm), a young street hustler who knows the city inside out.
After a narrow escape from a potential target, Kong persuades Joe to take him on as his apprentice, hoping to learn the skills necessary to defend himself and earn more money. Joe initially resists, but eventually agrees to train him in the art of killing.
While teaching Kong the ins and outs of the hitman's life, Joe begins to question his own motives and the morality of his actions. He also discovers that he is not alone in his latest assignment, as he is being pursued by a gang of rival assassins who see him and Kong as competition.
As the tension builds and the body count rises, Joe and Kong must use all their skills and knowledge to survive and complete their mission. Along the way, they form a bond that transcends their roles as teacher and student, and they both learn important lessons about trust, loyalty, and self-sacrifice.
