Ballerina follows the story of Maya, an ex-bodyguard who had once sworn to protect her best friend, Laura, at any cost. However, when Laura is brutally murdered, Maya is devastated and feels that she has failed in her duty. Before her death, Laura had confided in Maya about her plans for revenge against those who had wronged her in the past. Maya decides to take up this quest in honor of her friend's memory.
