Baja follows the misadventures of four recent college graduates who embark on a road trip across Mexico to try to regain some sense of purpose and direction in their lives. The group consists of a privileged frat boy named Joe, his more grounded and earnest friend Preston, their quirky and free-spirited female friend Lena, and a hard-partying DJ named Jackson.
At first, the trip seems like a disaster waiting to happen, as the group encounters a series of mishaps and obstacles that threaten to derail their journey at every turn. They get lost in the desert, run out of gas, and are forced to confront their own inner demons and conflicts as tensions rise between the four friends.
However, just when things seem at their bleakest, the group is unexpectedly redeemed by a series of miraculous events that bring them back together and help them discover a deeper sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. They encounter a wise old sage who teaches them valuable life lessons, stumble upon a beautiful and remote beach paradise that offers them refuge and healing, and even manage to save a kidnapped Mexican child from a dangerous gang of criminals.
Through it all, Baja is a coming-of-age story about friendship, love, and redemption, as these four young adults learn to face their fears and insecurities and discover their own unique paths in life.
