Baggage Claim is a romantic comedy film directed by David E. Talbert and released in 2013. It stars Paula Patton as Montana Moore, a flight attendant who is determined to find a husband after learning that her younger sister is engaged. With the help of her colleagues, Montana hatches a plan to use her job to search for ex-boyfriends who might be eligible bachelors.
Montana has thirty days to find a suitable partner before her younger sister's wedding. She decides to fly across the country and look up her ex-boyfriends while she is working on different flights. Her two close friends, Gail and Sam, who are also flight attendants, encourage her and give her advice on how to find the right guy.
Montana's journey takes her to different cities across the United States, where she tries to rekindle old flames and meet new men. She endures a series of mishaps and comical encounters along the way as she attempts to find the perfect partner before her sister's wedding.
As Montana meets different men, she begins to question her motivations for finding a husband and learns that maybe true love is not so easily found. With the help of her friends, Montana learns to value herself and chase her own dreams rather than meet societal expectations.
The film features an ensemble cast including Derek Luke, Taye Diggs, Adam Brody, Djimon Hounsou, and Jill Scott. Baggage Claim received mixed reviews from critics but was a modest box office success, grossing over $22 million worldwide.
