Bad Tutor is a 2018 thriller movie directed by Jeff Hare and written by Patrick Robert Young. The movie stars Vanessa Marcil, Charles Hittinger, and Beverly Mitchell.
The movie centers around Karen, a single mother who hires Devin, a young and handsome tutor, to help boost her daughter Emily's grades. However, Devin's intentions are not as pure as they seem. He becomes obsessed with Emily, who bears an uncanny resemblance to his late sister. Devin begins to behave inappropriately towards Emily, including breaking into her room and setting up hidden cameras.
As Karen becomes increasingly suspicious of Devin's behavior, she discovers that he has a dark past involving his sister's death. When Emily finds out about Devin's true intentions, she must fight to protect herself from his dangerous obsession.
