Back to Zero is a tense thriller that explores the seedy underworld of prostitution and organized crime. Hank Thornton, played by Sean Stone, is a former drug addict who owes a sizable debt to Jimmy "The Fat Man" Costello, played by Kevin Corrigan. To pay off his debt, Hank has been working as a driver, transporting high-end escorts to and from their clients.
On his last night on the job, Hank is tasked with driving two escorts to a hotel for their appointments. One of the women, named Ruby, played by Maria Conchita Alonso, disappears shortly after they arrive. Hank panics, realizing that if he doesn't find her soon, he'll face retribution from Jimmy.
As he starts to search for Ruby, Hank begins to uncover a web of deceit and danger. Along the way, he encounters a seemingly innocent hotel clerk, played by Lorenzo Lamas, who may know more than he's letting on. He also crosses paths with a violent pimp, played by Luke Brandon Field, who has a personal vendetta against him.
As the night wears on and Hank's desperation mounts, he must confront his own dark past and the demons that led him to this point. The film is a nail-biting race against time as Hank races to find Ruby before it's too late.
