Bachelorette is a 2012 American romantic comedy film, directed and written by Leslye Headland. The movie revolves around three best friends -Regan, Gena, and Katie, who reunite for the wedding of Becky, the girl they used to ridicule in high school. They are shocked to discover that Becky is getting married before any of them and they have to be her bridesmaids. Regan is the alpha-female of the group and very critical of everyone around her, especially Becky. Gena is a little wild and disenchanted with life, and Katie is naive and desperately trying to fit in.

As the night wears on, the three bridesmaids proceed to trash their hotel room and completely ruin Becky's wedding dress. In a desperate attempt to fix the dress, they head to a strip club, where they are joined by two of the groom's friends. However, the night takes a turn for the worse as they run into old acquaintances and unexpected events that jeopardize Becky's big day. Drunken antics and honest confessions ensue, as the girls confront their past and contemplate their future.

Throughout the movie, the three bridesmaids grapple with their own insecurities and dysfunctional relationships. They also come to realize the error of their past cruelty towards Becky. In the end, they manage to salvage the wedding and make amends with Becky - acknowledging that she was a better person than they ever gave her credit for.

Overall, Bachelorette is a witty and raunchy comedy that explores the tangled relationships of three women and their journey of self-discovery. Despite its moments of crudeness and irreverence, the movie ultimately celebrates the bond of female friendship and the importance of owning up to our past mistakes.
