Baby Frankenstein is a heartfelt and funny movie about a young couple, Lance and Katie, who are trying to cope with the loss of their newborn son. They push past their sorrow by throwing themselves into their work as scientists, with the goal of bringing their son back to life. After months of experimentation, they successfully create a new life with the help of a machine and a mysterious serum.
Their creation is not what they expected, however; Baby Frankenstein is a tiny monster who is eager to explore the world around him. They embark on an adventure as they try to figure out how to raise a child that is essentially a scientific experiment. Along for the ride are Lance's mentor, Dr. Newmeyer, and Katie's sister, Shelby.
As the group of misfits encounters various obstacles and learns more about each other, they begin to realize that family doesn't always mean sharing the same blood. Baby Frankenstein is a touching and humorous film about love, loss, and what it really means to be a family.
