The movie Baba Yaga: Terror of the Dark Forest is a Russian horror film that takes inspiration from the popular Slavic myth of Baba Yaga. It starts with a young family moving to a new apartment on the outskirts of the city. The couple, Ilya and Natasha, have a newborn daughter named Alisa and an older son named Egor.
As Ilya and Natasha have to work, they hire a nanny named Katya to take care of Alisa. At first, everything seems to be fine, and Katya quickly gains the trust of the family, especially Natasha.
