As the social worker and her group of criminals settle into the woods for their rehabilitation program, tensions start to rise among the group. Some of the criminals begin to question the effectiveness of the program and wonder if they will actually be able to turn their lives around.
Meanwhile, Freddy Palmer is on the prowl in the woods, targeting each member of the group one by one. As the bodies start to pile up, the remaining members of the group must band together to try and survive the deadly game that Freddy is playing.
As they struggle to stay alive, they uncover dark secrets about each other and realize that not everything is as it seems. The social worker must confront her own past and inner demons in order to protect her charges and make it out of the woods alive.
As the body count continues to rise, the group must come up with a plan to outsmart Freddy and put an end to his killing spree once and for all. But with each twist and turn, they realize that there may be more than just Freddy lurking in the shadows of the woods.
In a heart-pounding race against time, the group must fight for their lives and uncover the truth behind Freddy Palmer's deadly rampage before it's too late. Will they be able to survive the night, or will they become just another victim of the infamous Axegrinder?
