Away You Go is a German drama film written and directed by Philipp Eichholtz. The film follows the story of Charlie, a young schoolteacher in Berlin who is pregnant and about to take maternity leave. However, just before she is due to leave, she discovers that her contract will not be renewed, leaving her with no job to return to.

Faced with an uncertain future and unsure of what she really wants in life, Charlie sets out on a journey of self-discovery and visits her old friends and family in Germany, hoping to find some answers. Along the way, she reconnects with her ex-boyfriend, who is now married with a child, and is forced to confront the past she left behind.

As she travels around the country, Charlie also meets new people and finds new passions, including a group of anarchists who run a recycling center and a young man who wants to start a sustainable farm. Through her experiences, Charlie begins to question the traditional path that she has been on and starts to explore alternative ways of living and working.
