Away All Boats is a 1956 war film based on the novel of the same name by Kenneth Dodson. The movie tells the story of the USS 'Belinda', a U.S. naval ship that is tasked with supporting amphibious landings and engaging in combat in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
The film follows the crew of the 'Belinda', including its captain, Lieutenant Commander DeVriess, played by Jeff Chandler.
