Avril Lavigne: The Best Damn Tour - Live in Toronto was released in 2008 and was filmed during Lavigne's Best Damn Tour, which took place in North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. The concert was filmed at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on April 7, 2008, in front of a sold-out crowd of over 15,000 fans.
In addition to her biggest hits, Lavigne also performed several tracks from her album The Best Damn Thing, including "I Can Do Better," "Runaway," and "When You're Gone." She also showcased her guitar skills with an acoustic rendition of "Nobody's Home."
The concert featured Lavigne's high-energy stage presence, complete with costume changes, pyrotechnics, and a giant inflatable guitar. The concert also included a surprise appearance by Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, who played guitar on "Girlfriend."
The DVD release of the concert consists of the full-length concert as well as bonus features such as behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with Lavigne and her band, and a photo gallery.
