Author! Author! is a 1982 comedy-drama film directed by Arthur Hiller. The movie features Al Pacino as Ivan Travalian, a struggling playwright who is trying to balance his personal and professional life. Ivan is under a lot of stress as he prepares his latest play for its premiere on Broadway. The play is in trouble, and Ivan is struggling to get his cast under control.
