Austin Powers in Goldmember is the third installment in the Austin Powers series, released in 2002. The movie stars Mike Myers as the titular character, Dr. Evil, and a new villain named Goldmember, who has a love for gold and a patch of skin that flakes off.

The movie begins with Austin chasing Dr. Evil and Mini-Me through a movie studio, where they escape in a time machine. Meanwhile, in the present day, Nigel Powers, Austin's father and a British intelligence agent, is kidnapped by Goldmember. Austin teams up with a Japanese counterpart named "Foxxy Cleopatra" and travels back in time to rescue his father and stop Dr. Evil and Goldmember from their plan to flood the Earth.

Some notable moments in the film include the introduction of Fat Bastard's love for a "baby back ribs" diet, a musical number featuring Beyoncé as Foxxy Cleopatra, and a cameo appearance by Tom Cruise as himself. The movie also features a star-studded cast, including Seth Green, Michael Caine, Fred Savage, and Verne Troyer as Mini-Me.

The film received mixed reviews upon its release, with some critics praising the humor and the performance of Myers, while others found the humor tired and repetitive. Despite this, the movie was a box office success and grossed over $296 million worldwide.
