In "Haunted By Murder," Aurora Teagarden (Candace Cameron Bure) is pulled back into a decades-old murder case when a new body is discovered in the same house where she and her best friend Sally stumbled upon a body as teens. The small town of Lawrenceton, Georgia, is buzzing with rumors that the house is haunted, and Aurora must navigate the supernatural theories to uncover the truth behind the murder.
As Aurora digs deeper into the case, she discovers that the victim was a former classmate of hers, and that the circumstances of her death are eerily similar to those of the previous murder in the house. Complicating matters, Aurora is also dealing with the fallout from her unexpected engagement to her boyfriend Nick (Niall Matter), as well as the arrival of her estranged father.
With the help of Sally (Marilu Henner) and local newspaper reporter Arthur (Peter Benson), Aurora races against time to solve the mystery before the killer strikes again. Along the way, she uncovers secrets from her own past that will change everything she thought she knew about her family and her hometown.
