Atone is a 2019 action-thriller movie written and directed by Wes Miller. The film stars Jaime King as Laura Bishop, a former special ops soldier who is hired as a security guard at the largest church in America. When a group of dangerous hijackers storms the church and takes hostages, including Laura's estranged daughter, Janie (played by Bianca A. Santos), Laura steps up to help take down the threat and save the hostages.
But things are not as they seem, and Laura soon discovers that her daughter may have been involved with the hijackers. As the situation becomes more dangerous, Laura must navigate through various obstacles to protect her daughter and bring the hijackers to justice.
Atone also features a strong supporting cast, including William Forsythe as the leader of the hijackers, and David Labrava as a fellow security guard who helps Laura during the crisis. The film is filled with intense action sequences, suspenseful moments, and dramatic twists and turns that keep viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end.
