Atharintiki Daaredi is a 2013 Telugu-language drama film directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Samantha Akkineni, and Pranitha Subhash in lead roles. The film was produced by BVSN Prasad and music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Gautham Nanda (Pawan Kalyan) is the grandson of Raghunandan (Boman Irani), a billionaire based in Milan of Italy. Despite his wealth, Raghunandan is unhappy due to his estrangement from his daughter Sunanda (Nadiya), whom he disowned after she married a commoner against his wishes. On his birthday, Raghunandan asks Gautham to bring his Atha (mother-in-law) Sunanda back to their home, promising him an inheritance in return.
Gautham travels to India and enters the house as Siddharth (Siddhu), a driver who was appointed after saving Sunanda's husband Rajasekhar (Rao Ramesh) from a heart attack. Gautham befriends Sunanda's two daughters, Prameela (Pranitha Subhash) and Sashi (Samantha Akkineni), and their family. He begins to woo Prameela but his game ends when he learns that she is already in love with another man.
Meanwhile, Sashi is suspicious of Gautham's intentions and begins to investigate him with the help of her friend Paddu (Ali), who is also the male nurse appointed to take care of Rajasekhar. Sashi discovers Gautham's true identity and confronts him. Gautham reveals his true intentions and begs Sashi to keep his secret.
However, on the day of Raghunandan's birthday, Rajasekhar learns of Gautham's true identity and demands that he leave the house. A fight ensues, and Gautham reveals that he had come to reconcile Raghunandan and Sunanda. The family is touched by Gautham's sincerity, and Raghunandan reconciles with Sunanda. Gautham bids farewell to the family, and Sashi confesses her love for him. Gautham promises to return for her after completing his mission of reconciling his own family.
