At Long Last Love is a musical romantic comedy film released in 1975 directed by Peter Bogdanovich. The film stars Burt Reynolds as Michael O. Pritchard, a wealthy and charming playboy who falls in love with Kitty O'Kelly, a famous stage actress played by Cybill Shepherd.
Brooke Carter, played by Madeline Kahn, is a wealthy heiress who runs into Johnny Spanish, a suave gambler played by Duilio Del Prete, at the race track. It turns out that Brooke and Kitty are old friends from their public school days.
The four socialites, along with Brooke's companion Elizabeth played by Eileen Brennan, embark on a series of adventures in New York City. They attend fancy parties, visit nightclubs, and enjoy each other's company. However, the relationships between the foursome become complicated when various romantic interests arise.
At Long Last Love received mixed reviews upon its release and was considered a commercial failure, however, the film's soundtrack received critical praise for its music and songs by composer and songwriter Cole Porter.
