Assault on a Queen is a 1966 American heist film directed by Jack Donohue and starring Frank Sinatra, Virna Lisi, Anthony Franciosa and Richard Conte. The film is based on a novel of the same name by Jack Finney.

The film follows a group of adventurers who, after refloating a German submarine, come up with a plan to rob the Queen Mary on the high seas. Led by Mark Brittain (Frank Sinatra), the group includes a former member of the German navy (Heinz Weiss), a former merchant mariner (Alf Kjellin), a mechanic (Peter Masterson) and a dancer (Regina Bianchi).

Using the submarine as their base of operations, the group schemes and plans for the heist, all the while keeping their plans hidden from the captain and crew of the Queen Mary. As the ship sets sail, the group makes their move and manages to hijack the ship.

However, the heist does not go as planned. The group's leader, Brittain, is forced to confront his own inner demons and personal demons as the plan starts to unravel. Meanwhile, the ship's crew and passengers fight back against the robbers, leading to a tense standoff on the high seas.

The film was released to mixed reviews and was not a commercial success, but has gained a cult following over the years. It is known for its tense, dramatic score (composed by Duke Ellington), its realistic depiction of life on a submarine and its thrilling heist sequences.
