Assassins Tale follows the lives of three assassins: August (Michael Beach), Brix (Anna Silk), and the enigmatic Chinese assassin, X (Guy Garner). They are all contracted to kill the same target, a man named Billie (Gary Poux).
As they go about their assignment, they soon discover that they have a connection to each other that goes beyond just being colleagues in the same line of work. August is a recovering addict who struggles to stay sober, while Brix is dealing with an abusive relationship with her boyfriend who is also her employer. X remains an enigma, but his past eventually catches up to him.
Their individual struggles and secrets threaten to unravel the fragile trust they have built amongst themselves, and it becomes a race against time for them to complete their mission before their personal problems catch up to them. Along the way, they also have to navigate their way through double-crossing competitors and a corrupt law enforcement system.
