Assassin's Bullet is a 2012 action-thriller film directed by Isaac Florentine. The movie stars Christian Slater, Donald Sutherland, and Elika Portnoy. Robert Diggs is a former black ops agent who has been brought out of retirement to work for the American ambassador in Bulgaria, where there has been a string of assassinations of American officials. Diggs must track down and stop a rogue assassin who is picking off members of the terrorist group responsible for the attacks. The assassin, who wears a hood and speaks in Arabic, is known only as "The Wolf," and has a personal vendetta against Diggs. Diggs teams up with a local detective, played by Portnoy, to uncover the identity of The Wolf and bring him to justice. They travel through the slums of Bulgaria, dodging both the police and the terrorists, and eventually uncover The Wolf's true identity. The film ends with a dramatic showdown between Diggs and The Wolf, as they battle it out on the streets of Sofia. Assassin's Bullet received mixed reviews, with critics praising the action sequences and Slater's performance, but criticizing the predictable plot and lack of character development.
