The film follows the story of John Kane, a highly skilled operative working for a private military contractor known as Blackwell, who has been implanted with a cutting-edge microchip that allows his consciousness to be transferred into another person's body. The technology is used to carry out covert missions, with the operatives able to infiltrate enemy lines and carry out tasks undetected.
However, on a routine mission to take out a high-value target, Kane is compromised and killed. In the aftermath of his death, his wife, Sarah, a former soldier herself, is approached by Blackwell with an offer to become an operative and use the microchip to avenge her husband's death.
Despite the risks, Sarah agrees and undergoes the rigorous training needed to become an operative. She is implanted with the microchip and sent on a mission to infiltrate a rival contractor and take out the man responsible for her husband's death.
As Sarah gets closer to her target, she begins to uncover a web of lies and corruption within the private military industry. The deeper she goes, the more she realizes that her mission is not only about revenge but also to expose the truth and bring those responsible to justice, even if it means sacrificing herself in the process.
