Arthur Newman is a film that follows the story of Wallace Avery, a man who is tired of his mundane life and decides to fake his own death in order to start over. He assumes the new identity of Arthur Newman and sets out on a road trip to escape his past.
During his journey, he meets a woman named Mike, who is also running away from her past. The two of them form a bond and decide to start a new life together. However, as they continue on their journey, they realize that it's not easy to escape their pasts and that their new identities may not be enough to erase their past mistakes.
As Arthur and Mike navigate their newfound relationship and struggles, they must confront their own demons and come to terms with their pasts in order to truly start over. The film explores themes of identity, redemption, and the search for meaning in life.
