Armored is a 2009 action thriller film directed by Nimród Antal and starring Matt Dillon, Laurence Fishburne, Jean Reno, Skeet Ulrich, Amaury Nolasco, and Milo Ventimiglia. The film follows a crew of officers working for the Eagle Shield security firm who are tasked with transporting millions of dollars to a destination. One of the crew members, Baines (Fishburne), decides to execute the old man to eliminate the risk of him talking to the police. Ty, however, intervenes and tries to stop Baines, resulting in a gunfight between the two as the others scramble to get away with the money.
As the police arrive on the scene, the surviving crew members desperately try to cover up their actions and avoid getting caught, leading to an intense confrontation between them, the police, and Ty, who tries to reveal the truth about what happened. In the end, the crew members are caught, and Ty is able to clear his name and move on with his life, but not before paying a heavy price for his involvement in the heist.
