Are We in Love? follows the story of So-jung, a young woman who feels stuck in her mundane life. She works a dead-end job, has no romantic prospects, and often feels invisible and unimportant. However, that all changes when she stumbles upon a magical book that gives her the power to make every man she encounters fall hopelessly in love with her.
At first, So-jung is hesitant to use the book's power, but her curiosity gets the best of her, and she starts to experiment with it. She starts to notice that every man she encounters, from her co-workers to complete strangers, begins to act strangely around her, showering her with compliments and gifts.
However, she soon realizes that love isn't just about physical attraction and that her newfound power may have unintended consequences. So-jung begins to question whether the love she's receiving is real or just a result of the book's magic.
As the story unfolds, So-jung finds herself in a complicated love triangle between two men who have fallen under her spell. She must decide whether to continue using the book's power for her own gain or to give up the book and seek true love without any tricks or magic.
