In "Arabesque," Professor David Pollock, a renowned expert in Middle Eastern hieroglyphics, is approached by the Arab prime minister to decode a message written in hieroglyphics on a valuable artifact. However, Pollock's involvement soon leads him into a dangerous world of international espionage and danger.

Pollock immediately finds himself under surveillance by a group of ruthless men headed by a wealthy businessman named Beshraavi, who will stop at nothing to obtain the hieroglyphics and their meanings. He is aided by an enigmatic and beautiful female spy named Yasmin Azir, who is part of a larger conspiracy involving the prime minister and his plans for the region.
