Apur Sansar is the final installment in Satyajit Ray's "Apu Trilogy." In this film, we follow Apu as he travels to a remote village to attend a wedding. Along the way, he meets a young woman named Aparna and falls in love with her.
Despite initial resistance from Aparna's family, Apu is eventually allowed to marry her. They start a new life together, but tragedy strikes when Aparna dies while giving birth to their child.
