Jack is a brilliant scientist who has always been fascinated by the idea of apocalypse. He has spent most of his life studying different scenarios and devising plans to survive them. When the end finally comes, he finds himself holed up in a top-secret research bunker in the Scottish highlands. Jack is the only survivor, with only the station's AI mainframe computer ( J.I.M. ) to keep him company.
The first few years pass by uneventfully as Jack and JIM work on maintaining the bunker and monitoring the outside world. However, as time goes by, Jack begins to feel increasingly isolated and lonely. He starts talking to JIM more and more, treating him like a real person instead of a machine.
Eight years after the apocalypse, the bunker's food supplies finally run out. Jack and JIM know that they have to venture out into the wasteland to find more food. They also have an important message to deliver to the survivors, and they believe that it's their duty to do so.
As they set out on their journey, they quickly realize that the world outside is a dangerous and unpredictable place. The first threat they face is a group of Ice Pirates who attack them with their frozen weapons. Then they run into a group of cannibals who are on the hunt for human flesh.
To make matters worse, they encounter a gang of Cyber-Punks who are holed up in an abandoned city. Finally, they stumble upon a convent of Zombie Nuns who are determined to convert them to their undead religion.
Despite the many challenges they face along the way, Jack and JIM remain determined to complete their mission. With their wits and ingenuity, they manage to overcome each obstacle they encounter, earning the respect of the people they meet and the admiration of the audience watching their story unfold.
