Anything for Her (2008) is a French thriller directed by Fred Cavayé. The film follows the story of a happily married couple, Julien (Vincent Lindon) and Lisa (Diane Kruger), who lead a quiet life with their son, Oscar.

One morning, Lisa is arrested by the police on suspicion of murder and is sentenced to 20 years in prison. Julien is devastated and struggles to cope with his new reality. Convinced of his wife's innocence, he decides to take matters into his hands and embarks on a mission to free her.

Julien first tries to appeal Lisa's sentence through legal channels, but to no avail. He then takes a more drastic approach and hires a criminal to help him break Lisa out of prison. With the help of the criminal, Julien puts together an elaborate plan to carry out the escape.

The tension in the film builds as the plan becomes more complicated, and the risks become higher. As Julian gets closer to achieving his goal, he must confront the harsh reality of his actions and the consequences that may follow.

The film is a gripping thriller, with excellent performances from the lead actors, and a sense of urgency that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats. Anything for Her raises thought-provoking questions about the lengths a person is willing to go to save someone they love and the ethical dilemmas of breaking the law to achieve it.
