Anna is set in the midst of the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine, where the people are living in constant fear and uncertainty. Anna (played by Svetlana Alekseevna Barandich) is a single mother who has lost her husband and is struggling to make ends meet. Her son is a soldier at the front, and she fears for his safety every day.
One day, Anna hears a radio advertisement for a group of American men who are touring the country, searching for love. They are described as wealthy and adventurous, and Anna sees this as an opportunity to change her life. She travels to the party where the American men are staying, hoping to meet someone who will take her away from war-torn Ukraine and give her and her son a better life.
At the party, Anna is introduced to a group of men who are all looking for love. She is immediately drawn to one of the men, a kind and gentle soul named Rick (played by Lou Taylor Pucci). Anna and Rick strike up a friendship, and Anna is hopeful that they can build a future together.
However, as the night wears on, Anna begins to realize that these men are not what she thought they were. Some of them are here to take advantage of vulnerable women, and Anna's dream of finding love is quickly shattered. She is faced with a difficult decision: stay in war-torn Ukraine and continue to struggle, or risk everything to try and start a new life with Rick.
