Angst is a 1983 Austrian film directed by Gerald Kargl and written by Kargl and Zbigniew Rybczyński. It follows the story of a psychopathic killer named "The Psychopath" (played by Erwin Leder), who has just been released from prison after serving a long sentence for murder.

Shortly after his release, The Psychopath breaks into a remote home where he intends to kill a woman (played by Edith Rosset) and her two children - a handicapped son and a pretty daughter (played by Rudolf Götz and Silvia Rabenreither, respectively).

The film is shot entirely from the perspective of the killer, using an innovative camera technique that puts the audience directly inside the mind of the killer. This results in a very intense and unsettling viewing experience.

Throughout the film, we see The Psychopath struggle with his desire to kill and his overwhelming feelings of angst and despair. He is haunted by memories of his past crimes and is consumed by a desire to commit new ones.

Despite his best efforts to evade detection, The Psychopath is eventually caught by the police and brought to justice. The final scene of the film shows him being dragged away by police officers, his face contorted in rage and despair.
