The movie follows the character of the Angry Video Game Nerd, played by James Rolfe, as he embarks on a mission to find buried copies of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, a notoriously bad video game that was responsible for the video game industry crash in the 1980s. Along the way, he is joined by his best friend, Cooper (Jeremy Suarez), and a conspiracy theorist named Mandi (Sarah Glendening).
As they traverse the United States, the trio encounters a variety of obstacles, including a crazed fan who has created a giant spider robot, a military base where strange experiments are taking place, and dangerous cultists who are determined to keep the copies of E.T. hidden.
As the adventure unfolds, the Nerd finds himself facing his greatest fear - playing the infamous game. With the help of his allies, he must navigate through the game's levels and defeat the final boss.
