An Unquiet Grave is a horror thriller movie directed by Terence Krey, and will be released in 2021. The film follows the story of Jamie, a man who loses his wife in a car accident. A year after the tragedy, Jamie decides to use an ancient ritual to bring his wife back from the dead as he is unable to cope with his grief. He enlists the help of his sister-in-law Ava to perform the ritual, which involves burying his wife's body and digging it up seven days later. However, things goes awry as the couple begins to experience supernatural occurrences, and they realize that they have meddled with forces they cannot control.
As the days pass, Jamie and Ava find themselves haunted by unexplainable events, leading them to believe that the woman they have brought back may not be the same person they buried. The film explores themes of grief, loss, and the consequences of meddling with the natural order of life and death.
The cast includes Christine Nyland as Ava and Jacob A. Ware as Jamie. The movie was shot in upstate New York on a limited budget and is set to have its world premiere at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival in 2020.
