The movie begins with three American tourists, Andy, Chris, and Brad, bungee jumping off the Eiffel Tower. During their jump, they accidentally land in a park and are attacked by a pack of werewolves. Despite the danger, Andy becomes smitten with a beautiful woman named Serafine, who he later finds out is a werewolf.
Serafine's father, Thierry, is the leader of the Parisian werewolf community and he has discovered a serum that allows them to transform into werewolves at will. Thierry initially uses the serum to help his people lead normal lives, but he soon becomes corrupted by its power and starts using it to create an army of unstoppable werewolves.
Andy and his friends team up with a group of underground werewolf hunters to stop Thierry and his minions before they can wreak havoc on Paris. Along the way, Andy ingests the serum and becomes a werewolf himself, complicating matters even further.
An American Werewolf in Paris is a horror-comedy that features impressive practical effects and plenty of gore. It was released in 1997 as a sequel to the classic film An American Werewolf in London, but it has received mixed reviews from fans of the original.
